At Flaxmere College we are committed to meeting each students individual needs.
JUNIOR DIPLOMA:
Flaxmere College operates a Junior Diploma for all year 7 to 10 students.
The main aims of the Diploma are:
- To reward and encourage good work habits.
- To increase awareness of your child’s education.
- To provide ongoing feedback to you on important aspects of your child’s education that is not reported on in the mid and end of year academic reports.
The Rewards:
- Graduation reports sent home at the end of each term.
- Graduation ceremony at the end of the year.
- Awarding of certificates (EXCELLENCE, MERIT, ACHIEVE)
SENIOR CURRICULUM
We offer a wide range of subjects, both traditional and vocational, that prepare students for further study or for the workforce. All learning at the College is focused on the National Qualification (NCEA) so junior courses lead into courses and subjects in the senior school.
