Students are encouraged to experience a rich and wide variety of learning activities that are beyond the classroom.  Students are all encouraged to challenge themselves to participate in these activities.

KAPA HAKA
The College Kapa Haka Group is well supported by both junior and senior students.  This enthusiastic group of students take great pride in their performances at powhiri, competitions and school events.

PASIFIKA
The College has a very active Pasifika Group who takes part in the Secondary School Spacifically Pacifika Culture Explosion.  We are very proud of the commitment and success achieved by our group.

The Pasifika Group is currently fundraising for a trip to the Cook Islands later this year.

BAND
College Bands seem to go from strength to strength and in 2009 our College Band “Children of the System” took out the top spot at the Regional Smokefree Pasifika Beats Competition in Gisborne.

The College offers a range of itinerant music lessons, including a singing tutor.
